How do I set up my first backup?
After you install the client software a registration wizard will help you create your first backup set. You select the files, you select the schedule, you select the frequency. You have complete access to your data 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

When can I do my first backup?
Immediately. As soon as you signup for service and the client software is installed.

Can I do more than one backup a day?
Yes. If you have critical files or a database that change frequently throughout the day, you may want to backup the data 3 or 4 times a day. This will ensure the most current version of you file is off-site.

How long will my first backup take?
Depending on the amount of data and your Internet connection this will vary.  If you have a large amount of data to backup you can start and stop the backup process at your leisure. This will allow you to perform the backup when it works best for you. Once this first full backup is complete, the daily backups will take little or no time at all.

Will the backup slow down my computer if I am working on other applications?
No. MyDataRX.com operates very efficiently. We know that some backups are done while you are working on the system and others are done after hours. We allow you to easily change the CPU utilization to meet your needs. You can give the backup application all the processing power it needs, or make it subordinate to other tasks.

What if I miss a scheduled backup?
If a scheduled backup is missed, the next time your computer is started the Event Manager will display the missed event and ask you what you would like to do. This is useful for laptop users who may be out of the office during a scheduled backup.
